Squid Ink Aquaphobe V2 is an exciting evolution of our exclusive and hugely popular PTFE infused wax.

Aquaphobe V2 is blended in house to our own revised recipe for enhanced water behaviour and improved durability. It will offer protection to a well prepared panel for around 3-6 months.

The standard wax is a deep blue colour and has an amazing Bubblegum scent. We have also just released a very limited edition Lemon & Lime scent in vibrant yellow. Only 20 of these 50ml tins will be manufactured, so be quick if you want to add one to your collection..

As the name suggests, Aquaphobe repels water with ease. Although it's technically a hard wax, it spreads more like a paste. When cured, it's effortless to remove and leaves an unrivaled level of gloss and long lasting protection.

Aquaphobe needs to be applied to clean dry paint. Fully decontaminating your paintwork before application is advisable for better adhesion, wax will always bond better to clean and freshly decontaminated paint.

Directions for Use

Spread Aquaphobe thinly on one or two panels at a time using a Squid Ink UFO foam applicator. Allow to cure for approximately 5 minutes before removing with an Octoplushy or Purple Haze microfibre cloth.

Aquaphobe V2 cures quicker than the original version, typically after around 4 or 5 minutes. Curing times will always vary depending on temperatures and humidity. Swiping the panel clean with a finger is a tell tale sign that it's ready to remove.

Do not apply in direct sunlight and don't let it bake on, this will make any wax difficult to remove.

Applying a second coat of Aquaphobe after 1-12 hours will facilitate polymerisation by locking together the PTFE content in the wax. This will enhance the gloss and aquaphobic qualities even further.

Both options sold in 50ml tins.
