Squid Ink Storm is our highly durable glass sealant, designed to provide exceptional protection and extreme water repellency on windscreens and glass surfaces.
Extensively tested, Storm delivers 3–6 months of protection depending on wiper usage and outdoor conditions, making it perfect for daily drivers, track cars, or winter use.
Storm creates a strong hydrophobic barrier, repelling water, grime, and traffic film. It also works as a pre-icer, making ice removal easier on frozen glass surfaces. A must-have for improving visibility during wet or cold conditions.

🧴 Directions:
- Clean glass thoroughly using Squid Ink Crystalline Glass Cleaner.
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
- Lightly spritz glass with Squid Ink Storm.
- Wipe evenly in circular motions to create a haze. Avoid plastics, trim, or paint.
- Leave to cure for 5–10 minutes.
- Remove residue with a Squid Ink Glass Cloth or Weever microfibre.
- If any haze remains, wipe with a small amount of Crystalline Glass Cleaner.

- Do not use on plastics, chrome, or painted surfaces. Remove immediately with water and detergent if contact occurs.

For years I’ve used wax on side glass and clayed polished front rear screen. Then I was kindly gifted this product. One application later and water is beading / zipping off far better than I’ve ever seen. Yet to see what the screen will be like over town speeds. I imagine the wipers will be largely redundant in all but torrential rain. Hugely impressive.
Normally run glaco window sealants, but everything else in the squid ink range has blown me away so trying this too, was easy to apply, easy to buff and left a perfect finish, now just waiting to see what its like in the rain and how long it lasts.
