Shipping policy

Squid Ink Detailing Ltd strives to ship orders quickly whilst keeping postage costs to a minimum for our customers.

We always aim to pack and fulfill orders within 24 hours of receiving them. Parcels are shipped Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays. No parcels are shipped over the weekend or on bank holidays. 

Orders placed on weekends/bank holidays will be shipped the following WORKING DAY. During sales or busy periods, please expect fulfillment to take slightly longer. 

Postage Costs and Definitions:

 Orders Up to 10kg:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - £5.95 (Aims to deliver within 2-3 WORKING DAYS) 

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - £7.95 (Aims to deliver within 1-2 WORKING DAYS)

Please be aware, these are aimed delivery targets, they are not guarantees.

Orders over 10kg (up to 30kg):

Orders over 10kg (typically 2 or more 5L containers)

Parcel Force Express 48 / Fed Ex - £9.99 (Aims to deliver within 2-3 WORKING DAYS)

Parcel Force Express 24 /Fed Ex - £12.99 (Aims to deliver within 1-2 WORKING DAYS)

Packaging:

Smaller orders are typically shipped in a well padded and sealed jiffy bag with an outer mailer bag. Larger orders will be shipped in a strong, well padded cardboard box. If multiple orders are received to the same address, we reserve the right to combine the contents into one parcel. Larger orders will be sent by either Parcel Force or Fed Ex, depending on the size and weight.

Delivery Time:

Delivery time cannot be guaranteed, so please allow extra time depending on network congestion, especially during holiday periods, sales periods, and any recent industrial action. Please see Royal Mail / Parcel Force or Fed Ex for more details. 

Please get in touch if you need to order in excess of 30kg, we will obtain bespoke shipping pricing.

Please note, once we fulfil your order, any delays within the postal network are OUT OF OUR CONTROL, so please be patient. We will always work with our customers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. By placing and order with Squid Ink Detailing Ltd, you understand and accept that you are bound by the terms of delivery of Royal Mail/Parcel Force/Fed Ex.

Unfortunately surcharges apply for shipments to Northern Island due increased postage costs.

Lost or damaged parcels will be refunded or replaced as per the Royal Mail/Parcel Force/Fed Ex T&Cs.
