The Squid Ink Medium Clay Mitt is our new time saving alternative to using a clay bar. This high quality clay mitt will remove ingrained dirt, grime, tree sap and other embedded contamination from your paintwork.
Using this mitt is a far more efficient compared to using traditional clay, which can be quite time consuming, especially in colder months when clay needs to be warmed and manipulated into shape.
Our clay mitt has an advanced polymer rubber layer on one side that simply needs lubricating with shampoo and can be used many times over. Best of all, if dropped, it can simply be rinsed clean and reused.
The mitt measures around 8.5" x 6" and has a padded pouch for added comfort. It also has a useful tag which allows it to be hung up to dry after use.
DIRECTIONS:
- Pre-wash vehicle with snow foam or Citrus.
- Contact wash vehicle with shampoo.
- On particularly severe contamination, decontaminate with Tar & Glue and Ferrous Xtract first.
- Use diluted shampoo in a spray bottle to lubricate panel.
- Dip clay mitt into soapy water and wipe over the well lubricated paintwork.
- Paintwork should feel as smooth as glass once completed.
- After decontaminating paint, it's best practice to use All in One Polish to remove any minor marring, and finish with a wax or sealant for added protection.
